A discussion meeting and prayer mahfil were organized by Amjhupi Union BNP on the occasion of the 80th birth anniversary of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
On the night of Friday, August 15, 2025, a meeting and prayer mahfil program was organized at the Amjhupi Union BNP office. The meeting was addressed by the chief guest, former President of Meherpur Sadar Upazila BNP and Chairman of the Upazila Parishad, Mr. Advocate Maruf Ahmed Bijon, the special guest was former General Secretary and former Chairman of Meherpur Sadar Upazila BNP, Mr. Saiful Islam, the BNP leader and Janata Chairman, Mr. Shafiqul Islam, and Faizul Kabir Master was the moderator.

Toushik Khan, Amjhupi Union Jubo Dal Deputy General Secretary Md. Liton Mir, Amjhupi Union Sechchhasebak Dal General Secretary Md. Jamil Hossain Rana, Ward No. 9 Kola Union Member Asadul Zaman Pintu, Ward No. 6 Union Member Md. Toufiq Elahi, Ward No. 7 Hijuli BNP Leader Md. Yakub Ali, Ward No. 5 BNP Leader Md. Later, special prayers were offered for the health and longevity of Khaleda Zia. Leaders and activists of Amjhupi Union BNP and various levels of the organization were present at the ceremony.
