A 6-year-old child was raped in Dhamirhat, Naogaon, and the police have arrested the rapist.
Locals said that on March 6 (Friday) at around 5 pm, the child was playing near the house. At that time, Motibul Islam (33), son of Moklesur Rahman of the same village, was a young man.
He lured the 6-year-old child to his house by tempting him with food and raped the child. When the police complained to the police station, the police conducted a raid and in the evening, the rapist Motibul Islam was able to arrest the rapist. The child’s mother was rescued in a bloody state and brought her to Dhamirhat Health Complex. She was referred to Naogaon Sadar Hospital for further advanced treatment.
On the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, the Additional Superintendent of Police went to see the child at the hospital and ensured the highest medical care. Dhamirhat Police Station Officer-in-Charge Moklesur Rahman said that evidence of rape was found. The accused is in police custody. Legal action against the defendant is underway.
