A colorful rally was held on the occasion of the 47th National Science and Technology Week-2026 in Gopalganj Sadar Upazila with the aim of creating an innovation-based Bangladesh. The rally was organized on Wednesday (8 April 2026) at 11 am in the upazila square.
Teachers and students of various educational institutions along with local administration officials participated in the rally. This colorful rally circled the upazila square and ended at the same place.
Deputy Commissioner of Gopalganj Md Arif-uz-Zaman, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Kaushik Ahmed and Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md Salam Talukdar were present on the occasion.
When the District Commissioner reached the upazila square, the students of various educational institutions gave him a warm welcome through applause. Later, the District Commissioner and the Upazila Executive Officer visited the various stalls of the science fair. During this time they visited the innovative activities of the students and encouraged them.
The organizers said that such an arrangement plays a helpful role in increasing science-mindedness among students. Besides, this initiative will make an important contribution in the formation of technology-dependent Bangladesh.
