A huge public meeting (08 February 2026) in Bholahat, Chapainawabganj, with the slogan "Bholahat's land is the base of BNP" was held in a huge crowd for the Thirteenth National Parliament Election 2026 (08 February 2026). BNP nominated candidate for Chapainawabganj-2 constituency, former MP and Central BNP's Industry and Commerce Affairs Secretary Alhaj Md. Aminul Islam.

Present with him at the time were District BNP Organizing Secretary Alhaj Md. Abdus Salam Tuhin, former Jubo Dal President Asadullah Ahmed, Gomostapur Upazila BNP Member Secretary Adv. Rafiqul Islam Sentu, former Upazila Chairman of Bholahat Upazila Parishad Assistant Professor Md. Anwarul Islam Anwar and Alhaj Md. Babar Ali Biswas, former Upazila Vice Chairman Md. Kamal Hossain, and Women's Vice Chairman Reshmatul Aras Rekha.

The event was presided over by Upazila BNP Senior Vice President and former UP Chairman Md. Mahatab Uddin, and was attended by former Joint General Secretary Professor Md. Al-Helal, Organizing Secretary Kawsharul Islam Ranju, former UP Chairman Md. Abdul Quader, former Union BNP President Alauddin Contractor, former Acting President of District Volunteer Party Mizanur Rahman Mizu, former President of Jubo Dal Belal Uddin, General Secretary Md. Munsur Ali, former General Secretary of Upazila Chhatra Dal and Personal Assistant to the MP Kaiser Ahmed, as well as leaders and activists of Upazila BNP and its affiliated organizations.
