A colorful rally and discussion meeting were held in Dhamairhat on the occasion of the cleanliness drive. Organized by the Upazila administration and in collaboration with Dhamairhat Municipality, UNO (Acting) Jasmine Akhter inaugurated the cleanliness drive on the first working day of every month at 10 am on September 1 to prevent mosquito-borne diseases including dengue. In the discussion meeting held in the conference room of the Upazila Parishad, Animal Resources Officer Dr. Wazed Ali, Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Ashish Kumar Sarkar, Municipal Executive Officer and Assistant Engineer Sajal Kumar Mondal, Project Implementation Officer Mansur Ali, etc. delivered speeches highlighting the importance of cleanliness. Officials from various departments of the Upazila Parishad and officials and employees of the municipality were present in the rally and discussion meeting.
After the cleanliness meeting, in the same room, at the municipality's initiative, Municipal Administrator UNO Jasmine Akhter handed over 30 antivenoms and 32 rabies vaccines to the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer.
