A cultural program and a prayer meeting were held on the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) in Baghaichhari, Rangamati.
On Saturday (September 6), at 3 pm, a cultural program and a prayer meeting were held at the Upazila Model Mosque under the initiative of the Muslim Block Darus Sunnah Tahfizul Quran Madrasa, and a prayer meeting and prayer meeting were held after Maghrib under the organization of the Muslim Block Baitul Abrar Central Jame Mosque.
The said cultural program and a prayer meeting were conducted by the Mohtamim of Darus Sunnah Tahfizul Quran Madrasa, Md. Mufti Solaiman Khan, and the president of this madrasa, Mohammad Habibullah, was present as the chief guest.
The special guests present on this occasion included General Secretary of Darus Sunnah Tahfizul Quran Madrasa Md. Azgar Ali, President of Muslim Block Baitul Abrar Central Jame Mosque Md. Omar Faruk Master, General Secretary Md. Zahirul Islam, Treasurer Md. Yunus, President of Muslim Block Government Primary School Md. Shah Jalal, and Md. Omar Faruk, a child of this area and a resident of Dubai, along with teachers and students of this madrasa and prominent figures of the area.
In the afternoon, various religious and cultural performances including Quran recitation, Hamd-Na'at were held in the cultural program. At this time, the students of the madrasa won the hearts of everyone present with their charming performances.
Maulana Mohammad Atiqur Rahman, Senior Teacher of Baghaichhari Baitush Sharaf Jabbaria Madrasa, was present as the moderator of the cultural program. The chief judge was Maulana Abdul Malek, assistant presiding imam of Baitul Noor Jame Mosque in the Upazila Quarter, and the assistant judges were Maulana Hafez Ariful Islam Dewani, Khatib of Muslim Block Imam Imam Para Jame Mosque, and Maulana Muhammad Ali, presiding imam of Charkilo Jame Mosque.
The guests invited to the said cultural program said that Islamic culture is not just songs and poems; rather, it is a beautiful way of life. Here is the remembrance of Allah, the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), love for humanity, justice, and the teachings of brotherhood. If we want to see today's generation truly successful, we must introduce them to Islamic culture. They can be successful in this world and the hereafter, not by imitating Western consumerist culture, but in the light of a culture based on the Quran and Sunnah. The speakers at the event expressed their hope that they will organize more beautiful and larger scale cultural programs in the future.
At the end of the discussion, the invited guests presented prizes to the winning students. And after Maghrib, the President of the Muslim Block Baitul Abrar Central Jame Mosque, Md. Omar Faruk Master, presided over the speech of the Khatib of the Baghaichhari Upazila Sadar Central Jame Mosque, Hazrat Maulana Faizul Amin Qutubi. He highlighted the life philosophy of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and called on the Muslim community to live according to that ideal.
Finally, after the Isha prayers, special prayers and supplications were conducted for the prosperity of the country and the nation.
