Dhaka District North Detective Police members have arrested driver Liton Mia along with a pickup truck while trying to smuggle TCB products illegally overnight in Savar. During the search, TCB soybean oil, flour, sugar and pulses were found in the pickup truck.

Additional Superintendent of Police Arafatul Islam of Dhaka District gave this information at a press conference at 2:30 pm on Tuesday.

It was informed from the press conference that based on secret information about smuggling TCB products overnight in a pickup truck, members of the Dhaka District North Detective Police conducted a raid in the Savar Rajashan area last night. During the search, 1,800 liters of TCB soybean oil, 30 sacks of flour, 16 sacks of sugar and 27 sacks of lentils were found in a pickup truck. Later, the pickup truck was seized and its driver Liton Mia was arrested.

Police said that necessary legal action was taken against the driver, Liton Mia, and efforts are being made to arrest the remaining members of the gang.
