Dhamrai Police have arrested a drug dealer named Ripon Hossain (35) with 25 pieces of heroin and 15 pitches of yaba in Dhamrai.

Dhamrai Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Mostafa Kamal confirmed the matter. The accused was sent to court on Sunday (September 7) morning.

According to police sources, drug dealer Ripon was arrested in a special operation led by Dhamrai Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Mostafa Kamal. During this time, 15 pieces of yaba and 25 pieces of heroin were recovered from him. He has been involved in drug dealing for a long time. Ripon could not leave Sadak even after being imprisoned several times.

In this regard, Dhamrai Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Monirul Islam said, Dhamrai Police Station has always been strict against drugs. Drug dealers will not be able to stay in Dhamrai. Legal action will be taken against them. Drug dealer Ripon was arrested in a special operation yesterday, Saturday. He was sent to court this Sunday morning.
