A joint exhibition by the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning, JCAL, and Resorts World in New York will open on Friday, February 20. The mainstream exhibition at the Red Wall Art Gallery at Resorts World in Jamaica will feature works by seven Bangladeshi artists, among others. The exhibition will be curated by Bangladeshi-born artist and sculptor Alma Ferdousi Lia.

The Bangladeshi-American artists participating in the exhibition are Biswajit Chowdhury, Alma Lia, Deepa Debnath, Farhana Yasmin, Rudra Jahangir, Sharmin Sirazi, and Tariq Zulfiqar. While Biswajit Chowdhury, Alma Lia, and Deepa Debnath have one painting each, Farhana Yasmin has two, Rudra Jahangir has two, Sharmin Sirazi has three, and Tariq Zulfiqar has three.

The exhibition, titled ‘Culture Through Kaleidoscope’, focuses on the diverse art of immigrants. The curated exhibition will run until April 17. Alma Lea, the sole curator of the mainstream exhibition, has invited Bangladeshi art lovers to the exhibition.
