A situation has arisen that calls for resignation have been made because we prevented them from going towards the Jamuna. If we had enforced the law more strictly, we might not have been able to stay in the country, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) Masud Alam of Ramna Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
On Wednesday (August 27) afternoon, an 11-second video of DC Masud Alam's statement went viral on social media.
