Journalist Md. Mofidul Islam Sarkar distributed khichuri among more than a hundred children in the Teesta river eroded area on the border of Pirgachha in Rangpur and Ulipur in Kurigram.

Journalist Mofidul Islam Sarkar has been working for a long time to deliver various gifts to the helpless poor by going door to door with the financial support of local donors.
Not only that, he organizes khichuri meals for children every week, distributes winter clothes and blankets during winter. He gifts writing materials for a year to poor and helpless children with the support of local donors.
He has started a tree sapling distribution program among all primary school students of Pirgachha Upazila every week.
With the financial support of donors, they have decided to provide a bag to each student in addition to distributing writing materials from 2026.
