A Mangal Shobhajatra was held in Dhamairhat on the occasion of Shri Krishna's Janmashtami. The Janmashtami festival was celebrated on the occasion of Shri Krishna's 5251st appearance tithi organized by the Dhamairhat branch of Bangladesh Puja Udjavan Front. Under the leadership of Mahesh Pal, President of Bangladesh Puja Udjavan Front Dhamairhat branch and Joy Saha, a colorful Mangal Shobhajatra was held from the Central Radha Gobinda Temple on Saturday, August 16 at 11 am and paraded the main roads of the upazila. The Mangal Shobhajatra became lively with the participation of Upazila BNP Saa Secretary Md. Hanzala and Naogaon District Jubo Dal Joint Convener Jahangir Alam Liton.
