The final game of the Ramganj Upazila Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament in Lakshmipur was held on Monday (May 4) afternoon at the Ramganj Government College ground. In the game, Panpara Girls Government Primary School and West Angarpara Government Primary School won the championship in the boys' group and girls' group at the upazila level.

The runners-up were East Karpara Government Primary School (boys) and Changirgaon Government Primary School (girls).

Under the overall guidance of Ramganj Upazila Primary Education Officer Mohammad Imran Hossain, the prize distribution ceremony was presided over by Ramganj Upazila Executive Officer and Upazila Sports Association President Kazi Atiqur Rahman. Local representative of Lakshmipur-1 constituency MP and Ramganj Upazila BNP General Secretary Md. Monowar Hossain, Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Abul Basar Satu, Member Secretary of the newly formed Ramganj Upazila Sports Committee Md. Alamgir Hossain, among others, were present at the ceremony.

Also present were teachers from various schools, players, locals and spectators.
