Keeping in mind the slogan "Don't say no to drugs, build a healthy and beautiful life", Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the pride of youth of Bangladesh, announced zero tolerance against drugs and AKM Fazlul Haque Milon, a repeatedly elected member of parliament from Kaliganj, organized the Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Memorial Football Tournament to build a drug-free Kaliganj.

The final match of the Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Memorial Football Tournament was held yesterday at 5 pm at the Barakau Government Primary School ground for the youth of 7th ward of Nagari Union, Kaliganj Upazila, Gazipur.

The opening ceremony of the Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Memorial Football Tournament was attended by: Md. Sirajul Islam, Convener, Kaliganj Upazila BNP, and Md. Saiful Islam, Former, Volunteer Affairs Secretary, Kaliganj Upazila BNP.

Md. Shahdat Hossain Nasim, member of the joint convening committee, Kaliganj Thana Sechchhasebak Dal, was present as a special guest. Md. Joynal, member, Kaliganj Thana Jubo Dal. Rubel Sheikh, convener, Kaliganj Upazila Chhatra Dal. Md. Arif Khan Joy, president, Nagri Union Chhatra Dal.

Md. Haji A. Rahim Sarkar, president, Nagri Union BNP, was present as the chief guest in the final game of the Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Memorial Football Tournament. Md. Rajib Hossain Raju, convener member, Kaliganj Thana Jubo Dal, was in overall supervision. Md. Liton Mia, intelligence leader, Nagri, Kaliganj.

The final game was held under the chairmanship of Md. Mamun Mia, member of Ward No. 7 of Nagri Union Parishad, and the former vice-president of Nagri Union Chhatra Dal, Md. Jewel Rana, was in charge.

Purbachal Kalni Football Academy, versus Palkhan Batbrik Sporting Club participated in the final game of the said football tournament. The game was played for 30 minutes 30 minutes and 1 hour. The game was drawn at 1-1 goals at the scheduled time, in the tiebreaker, Palkhan Batbrik Sporting Club scored 5 goals, Purbachal Kalni Football Academy scored 4 goals, Palkhan Batbrik Sporting Club became the champion.

Mashiur Rahman was selected as the best player in the game, Majnu was selected as the best goalkeeper. Kabir Hossain, the main referee, Al Hasan as the assistant referee, and Zahir Raihan as the assistant referee.

At the end of the game, the chief guest presented medals to all the players and refrigerators to the winners.
