The holy Eid-ul-Adha prayers of the peace-loving people of the Muslim Ummah have started from this morning. Since morning, the peace-loving people of the Muslim Ummah have been offering their holy Eid-ul-Adha prayers amidst tight security in various parts of India. So far, no news of unrest or trouble has been received from anywhere. Early this morning, Maulana Mufti Abdullah Bukhari offered the holy Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the famous Jumma Mosque in Delhi, India.
News of the holy Eid-ul-Adha prayers being held peacefully in Fatehpur and Tablighi Jamaat's Darul Uloom Deoband Madrasa and Saharanpur and Deobandi scholars in Bareilly and Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh has been received. Today, peace-loving people are offering the holy Eid-ul-Adha prayers peacefully in various parts of West Bengal. And several lakhs of people are offering the holy Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the historic Brigade Maidan in Kolkata.
The Pir Sahibs of Furfura Sharif in West Bengal and Khidirpur Khanka Sharif in Kolkata are offering prayers on the holy Eid-ul-Azha. On the occasion of today's holy Eid-ul-Azha, the President of India, Draupadi Murmu, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, the Leader of the Opposition in India, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, and the Leader of the National Congress, Shri Rahul Gandhi, have greeted the peace-loving people of the Muslim Ummah of the country.
The Chief Minister of West Bengal, Subhendu Adhikari, the Supremo of the Trinamool Congress of West Bengal and former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the President of the West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee, Subhankar Sarkar and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, and the leaders of various political parties have greeted the holy Eid-ul-Azha. However, there was no difficulty or unrest anywhere regarding the animal sacrifice. The administration officials have ensured security by using drones in different places.
