A training workshop was held at the Birganj Upazila Health Complex in Dinajpur for the successful implementation of the Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign 2026 for the 1st line supervisors and vaccination workers at the Upazila level.
The training workshop was held in the conference room of the Upazila Health Complex from Wednesday (15 April 2026) morning. The workshop was inaugurated by Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Afroz Sultana.
In his inaugural speech, he said that vaccination activities are very important in eliminating Measles-Rubella. To make this program 100% successful, all concerned will have to work with sincerity, responsibility and coordination. At this time, he provided necessary guidance to the trainees.
Medical Officer (Disease Control) Dr. Amrit Sarkar and Medical Officer (MOICT) Dr. Abu Bakkar Siddique provided detailed training on the âMeasles Vaccination Campaignâ through training and power point presentation.
Health workers and concerned persons of various levels at the upazila level participated in the training. Among them, SI, AHI, SACMO, statistician, TLCA, MT-EPI, FPI, HA and vaccination workers/vaccinators were present.
This training workshop was organized by Upazila Health Complex, Birganj, Dinajpur and under the supervision of Health Services Division and Directorate General of Health Services.
The concerned persons said that through such training, vaccination activities at the field level will be further strengthened and will play an important role in the eradication of measles-rubella.
