1 person arrested in connection with the leak of primary teacher recruitment exam question paper in Joypurhat

RAB-5 has arrested a man named Anwar Hossain (41) on charges of being involved in the question-answer paper leak incident of the primary assistant teacher recruitment examination in Joypurhat.

He was arrested from the Khorampur area of ​​Dhamairhat upazila of Naogaon district around 12 midnight on Tuesday. This information was given in a press release sent by RAB around 12:30 pm on Wednesday. Arrested Anwar Hossain is the son of Mozaffar Rahman of Khorampur village of Dhamairhat upazila of Naogaon district.

The press release said that on January 9 of this month at 4 pm during the primary assistant teacher recruitment examination, examinee Amir Hamza was seen filling out the answer sheet in room number 202 of Joypurhat Government Girls High School after seeing a short message (SMS) on the mobile phone in his custody.

At that time, the room inspector on duty noticed the similarity between the SMS and the answer sheet of the examinee and immediately informed the matter to the representative of the District Primary Education Officer in charge at the examination center, Shakil Ahmed. Later, he informed the matter to the Joypurhat Police Station. At around 4:30 pm that day, the examinee Amir Hamza admitted to adopting unfair methods. Shakil Ahmed, the representative of the District Primary Education Officer, filed a case with the Joypurhat Police Station as the plaintiff in this incident.

RAB sources said that the absconding accused Anwar Hossain was arrested during the investigation of the case based on secret information. The arrested accused has been handed over to the Joypurhat Police Station for further legal action.
