More than 500,000 Ansar members across the country will participate in the election

Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that a total of 5,55,958 Ansar-VDP members, 13 in each of the 42,766 polling stations across the country, will be on duty in the upcoming thirteenth national parliament election.

The 13 members deployed at each polling station will consist of 3 armed, 6 unarmed male members and 4 unarmed female members. 1,191 Ansar Battalion Strike Force Teams will be deployed across the country. He said these things while attending the basic training program of 41st BCS (Ansar) cadre officers at Ansar and VDP Academy in Safipur, Gazipur on Monday morning.

At the same time, he also said that a total of 11,910 members with 10 members in each team will perform duties, which will make the overall election security system more integrated and effective. Senior officers of Ansar and VDP along with the Director General of the Force Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud were present in the parade.

At the end, several teams of Ansar members exercised their physical abilities and demonstrated rescue operations during emergencies.
