Under the inspiration of Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the foundation of the cast road from FP School of Banerjee village to Shahidullah Molla PWD Road in Chaltaberia region, with the tireless efforts and cooperation of Baruipur East MLA Bivas Sardar, with the sole efforts and cooperation of Maulana Khairul Anam Molla, was completed.
It is known through the locals that for about 55 years, people in this area have been living their lives in hardship by walking on mud roads, water and mud. Today it is going to end. The state government has launched the “Pathashree” scheme to ensure the construction of paved roads in every village of Bengal. Through this project, paved roads are also being built in remote villages of West Bengal and repairs are being made to roads that need repairs.
On Saturday, the road built by Sunder Ban Parshad was inaugurated in Chaltaberia Village Panchayat area of Baruipur East Assembly Center of South 24 Parganas district under the supervision of Baruipur Vidhan Sabha MLA Bivas Sardar.
Gopal Chandra Sardar, Chief Food Officer of Panchayat Samiti of Jayanagar No. 1 Block and Region President of Chaltaberia Region inaugurated this casting road by cracking a coconut. Residents are happy about the inauguration of the new welded road in Banerjee Chowk village. The long-standing traffic in Banerjee Chowk area in South 24 Parganas district has a permanent solution. For a long time, the road in this area was in a very bad condition due to which thousands of villagers were in dire straits.
It was almost impossible to travel especially during rainy season or in case of emergency. Finally, the new road was successfully inaugurated under the initiative of Chaltaberia region under the inspiration of the Chief Minister. Along with the inauguration ceremony, Chaltaberia region president Gopal Chandra Sardar, Chaltaberia region head Saheba Afrooza Molla, prominent social worker Maulana Khairul Anam Molla, Abdullah Molla and other prominent people of the area were present.
Prominent social worker Maulana Khairul Anam Molla told reporters that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has ordered the construction of paved roads in remote villages through the Pathashree project. This step has been taken for the convenience of the common people and to improve the rural communication system. If the long-standing broken brick roads become paved roads, now vehicles will be able to enter the villages very easily. The local residents, who were happy to get this modern road, thanked the state government and the local panchayat administration.
