The Police Magistracy Conference was held at the conference room of the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Joypurhat on January 17 (Saturday) at 10 am under the chairmanship of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate of Joypurhat District, Mr. Md. Tajul Islam Miah.
The conference was attended by learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Milan Chandra Pal, Additional District Magistrate Mohaimena Sharmin, Additional Superintendent of Police Arif Hossain, learned Judicial Magistrate Catherine Gomez, Md. Nasir Uddin, Md. Jannatul Ferdous, learned Civil Judge Begum Mehnaz Humaira Kuheli, President of Joypurhat District Bar Association Adv. Abdul Momen Fakir, General Secretary Adv. Md. Shahidul Islam, learned PP Adv. Md. Shahnur Rahman Shahin, learned Special PP Rinat Ferdousi Rini, Additional PP Adv. Mamunur Rashid, ATM Mujahid Aziz, Commander of Rapid Action Battalion 05, BGB Representative Joypurhat, Superintendent of Joypurhat General Hospital. Rashed Mubarak, Sub-Divisional Engineer of Public Works Department Mr. Asad Ali Khandaker, Jail Superintendent Umme Salma, Prosecutor Narcotics Control Department Snigdha Akhter, Probation Officer Sharmin Sultana, Court Inspector, OC DB and Officer-in-Charge of all police stations of Joypurhat district.
The conference discussed in detail the overall judicial affairs of Joypurhat district, identified various problems and discussed in detail the ways to solve them. The importance of providing medical certificates and investigation reports at the right time was given, and it was said that summons should be issued to witnesses for the speedy disposal of the case and it should be issued properly.
Finally, Chief Judicial Magistrate Tajul Islam Miah said that we have to work together to build a beautiful society and he thanked everyone and declared the conference over.
