This morning, former West Bengal minister and Bishnupur East MLA Shri Dilip Mondal was arrested from a hotel in Puri, Odisha, a neighboring state of West Bengal. After that, the police arrested Dilip Mandal’s son from Lal Bari area in Diamond Harbour area on charges of illegal weapons and extortion.
And the police continued to search various places to arrest Dilip Mondal. This morning, after receiving information from secret sources, the West Bengal Police’s STF Special Force arrested him from a hotel in Puri, Odisha. Earlier, they conducted raids in various areas of South 24 Parganas district and atrocities and torture on the common people and framing them in false cases and killing opposition party leaders and workers and looting money from the houses of common people.
And extorting huge amounts of money from the common people and various businessmen. And colluding with the police to extort money by threatening to frame them in false cases. Encroaching on government property and doing illegal construction work on it. And filling up water bodies and building new buildings. Extorting huge amounts of money through Diamond Harbour Syndicate and Bus and Auto Rickshaw Union and illegal work of Panchayats have started an investigation. West Bengal Chief Minister Shuvendu Adhikari has started an investigation into the matter.
His government has promised to establish the rule of law. And work has started as promised.
