Dhaka representative:
BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Mr. Tarek Rahman, Member of Parliament elected from Dhaka-17 Constituency, is donating a total of Tk 6.5 million to five temples in his constituency.
The donation will be given to a total of five temples including Mahakhali BTCL Sarvajanin Durga Mandir, Sri Sri Shivakali Mandir, Sri Sri Radha Krishna Mandir, ID Hospital Mandir in the capital.
On April 06, 2026, his Assistant Private Secretary Abdur Rahman Sani officially announced this financial donation on behalf of the Prime Minister in an event in Mohakhali as the chief guest.
Dhaka Zilla Parishad Administrator Yachin Ferdous Murad, BNP Central Executive Committee member Ramesh Dutta and Prime Minister’s Research Officer Abdus Sattar Patwari along with Dhaka Metropolitan BNP and Thana Committee leaders were present.
In addition to these initiatives in Dhaka-17 constituency, various other steps have been taken for the overall development of the area.
As a part of this, various developmental activities will be inspected, including seven-story slum road development, development of roads and playgrounds inside BRP, cleaning and beautification of Gulshan-1 and 2 lakes.
Dhaka Zilla Parishad Administrator Yachin Ferdous Murad said on the occasion that the Prime Minister has taken multi-faceted programs to ensure the development and prosperity of all religious people of the country. Dhaka Zilla Parishad has already started working to implement this promise of the Prime Minister.
