A meeting was held with grassroots leaders of the Sechchhasebak Dal in Barhatta to exchange views.

The grassroots leaders of the Bangladesh Nationalist Volunteer Party held a colorful rally and discussion meeting in Netrokona Barhatta. The colorful rally and discussion meeting was held on Saturday (September 6) at 4 pm organized by the Upazila Volunteer Party.

District Volunteer Party President Sulaiman Hasan Rubel, District Volunteer Party General Secretary Khaled Saifullah Munna, Senior Vice President Nuru Faras, Organizing Secretary Kaiser Ahmed, Senior Joint General Secretary Ehsanul Haque, Joint General Secretary Shariful Haque Sabuj
Barhatta Upazila Jubo Dal Senior Joint Convener Mohibur Rahman. The discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of Upazila Volunteer Party Convener Abdul Qadir and moderated by Member Secretary Nurul Islam Sheikh. Also present were Md. Sohel Arman, joint convener of Barhatta Upazila Volunteer Party, Abul Bashar Talukder, joint convener, Mahbubur Rahman Chandan, joint convener, Tajul Islam Chand, upazila Chhatra Dal convener Tariqul Islam, Barhatta Government College Chhatra Dal convener Abdullah Al Mamun, member secretary Tanvir Hasan Munna, leaders of Upazila Volunteer Party.

The speakers at the discussion meeting said that Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony. People of all religions, castes and tribes have been living in peace in this country and practicing their own religion. Everyone should be alert from their respective positions so that no one can take advantage of the uprising of the students and the public to cause any untoward incident.

It is worth noting that BNP founder, martyred President Ziaur Rahman, founded this organization on August 19, 1980, under the name of Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal, thinking of standing by the people during various disasters.
