On the occasion of the 47th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), the BNP Thana organized an exceptional program in Kamrangirchar in the capital. To commemorate the founding anniversary of the party, a cleanliness drive was organized at the Kamrangirchar Central Shaheed Minar premises on September 2 (Monday) at 10 am.
The program was led by Mohammad Naeem, convener of Kamrangirchar Thana BNP. In addition, Haji Zahir Uddin, Aziz Member and local BNP leaders and activists were present. About a hundred workers removed garbage and cleaned the Shaheed Minar premises and the surrounding areas.
The organizers informed that the Shaheed Minar is not only a symbol of national history, but also a monument of the emotions and pride of the people. Therefore, it is everyone’s responsibility to keep its environment clean. Through this initiative, they want to convey a positive message to the people.

Several leaders and activists participating in the program said that BNP has always stood by the people in the country’s political history. By holding such programs on the party’s founding anniversary, they want to involve party workers in social responsibility and public welfare work.
At the end of the program, Mohammad Naeem said, “Shaheed Minar is our pride, it is a symbol of the nation’s sacrifice. Through the cleanliness program, we have paid tribute to the martyrs. At the same time, we want to spread the message of cleanliness and awareness in the society.”
Local residents also welcomed such initiatives. According to them, if political workers do such public welfare work not only as part of party activities, but also as part of social responsibility, the society will benefit.
