A joy rally was held on behalf of Chhatra Dal to announce the convening committee of Chhatra Dal at Taherpur College in Bagmara, Rajshahi.
On Sunday, August 17, the Taherpur joy rally started and ended with a brief discussion at the college gate after passing through the main roads. The joy rally was attended by former, current and new committee Chhatra Dal leaders and activists of Taherpur, and former Chhatra Dal leaders and activists welcomed the new committee members with flower garlands.
On August 16, in a notice signed by Rajshahi District Students’ Convener S.M. Salauddin Ahmed Shamim Sarkar and Rajshahi District Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Md. Al-Amin, the Rajshahi District Chhatra Dal announced the Taherpur Chhatra Dal committee, naming Md. Wahab Sardar as the convener and Rashedul Islam Shuvo as the member secretary of Taherpur College, along with 24 others.
Present at the joyous procession were Taherpur Municipal Chhatra Dal joint convener Md. Sohel Rana, Taherpur College Chhatra Dal convener Md. Abu Basar, Taherpur Municipal Volunteer Dal member secretary Md. Ashraful Islam, Municipal Chhatra Dal member secretary Md. Nahidul Islam Roni, Jubo Dal leader Md. Abdul Halim, Jubo Dal leader Md. Russell French, Jubo Dal leader Md. Jewel Rana, members of the new committee of Taherpur College, and leaders and activists of BNP’s affiliate organizations.
