Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Dr. Mohammad Abdul Momen said that the former Prime Minister, former Chief Justice, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, and Khatib of Baitul Mukarram have fled—the main reason behind this is corruption. He said these things at a public hearing organized by the Anti-Corruption Commission at Joypurhat District Shilpakala Academy at 10 am on Monday in collaboration with the district administration and the District Corruption Prevention Committee.
The ACC Chairman also said that corruption will not be completely eradicated, but it can be reduced. If we are sincere with each other, corruption will be reduced. He instructed the concerned departments to investigate the complaints received in the public hearing and take immediate action.
