An exhibition of unmanned sprayer drones as part of modern agricultural technology was held in Ranishankail upazila of Thakurgaon district under the initiative of AC I Fertilizer. The exhibition was organized on Wednesday (April 8) in the Velai Malivita area of Ratore union of the upazila. The exhibition showed farmers how to spray pesticides and fertilizers on the land quickly and effectively through drones.
The farmers present at the exhibition expressed interest in this new technology and got an idea about its practical benefits. After the exhibition, a discussion meeting was held with the participation of local farmers. The meeting discussed various aspects of using technology in modern agriculture, increasing production and reducing costs.
Present at the event were AGM Zillur Rahman Khan of AC I Fertilizer, Assistant Product Manager Krishibid Anik Parvez, Regional Sales Manager Shariful Islam, Deputy Zonal Manager Krishibid Mezbaur Rahman, Service Manager Zahiduzzaman Rubel and Sardul Haque, Proprietor of AC I Fertilizer’s dealer SS Traders, among others.
The speakers said that new possibilities are being created in agriculture through the use of modern technology. Drone technology will play an important role in increasing production by reducing the time, labor and costs of farmers.
