With the theme of greening Bangladesh, various types of fruit and forest trees have been distributed among students in Kalai under the tree plantation program.
Today, Monday (September 8), the trees were distributed among the students at Kalai Moen Uddin Government High School, organized by the Joypurhat District Branch of the Nature and Life Club.
Kalai Upazila Executive Officer Shamima Akhter Jahan distributed the trees among the students.
Also present at the time were Kalai Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Iftekhar Rahman, Kalai Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Zahid Hossain, teachers of Moen Uddin Government High School and members of the Nature and Life Club.
