Every woman will get a family card. This is what this scheme is like. Even my wife, the DC present at the event, will get a family card, said LGRD Minister and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
He made this comment while delivering a speech at a family card distribution ceremony among 590 women at the Rahimanpur Sammilit Eidgah Alim Madrasa ground in Sadar Upazila on Tuesday morning. He said that every woman who is the head of the family will get a family card.
The purpose of this is to empower women, to give them hope. Before the election, we had promised that family cards would be introduced if we come to power. We are going to fulfill our promise. We have kept our word.
