Lalmonirhat Aditmari Document Writers Association General Election-2026 was held in a peaceful and festive atmosphere. The polling was completed under the supervision of Chief Election Commissioner Shiuli Khatun at the sub-register office.
Voting started at 9.30 am on Tuesday and continued till 12.30 pm. A total of 53 voters participated in this election and 100% polling was confirmed.
After the polling, the Chief Election Commissioner officially announced the results. At this time, members of the law and order force including the officer in charge of Aditmari police station, Nazmul Haque, performed their duties to ensure overall security.
In the announced results, Md. Mozammel Haque won the post of president by getting 38 votes in the doat-pen symbol. His nearest rival Md. Abu Taleb got 15 votes in the chair symbol.
Md. Tariqul Islam Ripon was elected as general secretary by getting 34 votes in pen symbol. His rival Md Saiful Islam Sarkar got 19 votes on the motorcycle symbol.
Md. Rabiul Islam was elected as treasurer by getting 30 votes in the pineapple symbol. His nearest rival Md. Roknuzzaman got 21 votes in the umbrella symbol.
Md. Abul Kalam Masud won the post of organizing secretary by getting 26 votes in fish symbol. His rival Habibur Rahman Shahin got 19 votes.
Md. Babul Mia was elected as office secretary by getting 29 votes in the bicycle symbol. His nearest rival Md. Bakhtiar Uddin Limon got 24 votes in Chashma symbol.
Besides, four members were elected. They are — Md Abdur Rahman Sabuj (47 votes), Md Azizul Islam (44 votes), Shri Dilip Kumar Roy (44 votes) and Md Russell Khan (35 votes).
There is a lively atmosphere among the voters around the elections. There was satisfaction among all concerned as polling was completed peacefully.
