Some sensational information has been revealed about the murder of five members of a family of tenants in Kapasia, Gazipur. This tragic incident took place on Friday (May 8) night in the house of expatriate Monir Hossain in Rautkona village of the upazila. On Saturday (May 9) morning, police recovered their slit-throated bodies from the house. Among the deceased are the tenant Forkan’s wife, three children and his brother-in-law.
It was learned from the scene that Forkan’s wife was tied to the window and tortured to death. The slit-throated bodies of three innocent children aged 2 to 5 were lying on the floor of the house. And the slit-throated body of Forkan’s brother-in-law was found on the bed. The police also seized several signs of drug use during a search of the house.
The most sensational thing is that printed paper was found next to the bodies in each of the three places where the bodies were lying inside the house. Although the details of these papers are not yet known, it is initially believed that they are documents from a case. According to local residents and police sources, Forkan Mia used to live in the house of expatriate Monir Hossain with his family.
All the family members were seen normally on Friday night. Neighbors said that Forkan and his wife often had family disputes. It is believed that he brutally killed his wife, three children and brother-in-law and fled because of that dispute.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are working to unravel the mystery of the incident. Currently, the general public has been banned from entering the house. The police forensic team is working inside to collect evidence. This sensational and tragic incident has caused widespread commotion and mourning in the entire Gazipur district.
In this regard, Gazipur District Superintendent of Police Md. Sharif Uddin said, “Police were sent to the scene after receiving the news. Five members of the same family were killed. Multiple agencies are working to unravel the mystery of the incident. We are investigating the matter with great seriousness.”
