Four people were seriously injured in a terrorist attack due to a dispute over the ownership of a shop in Bharasar Bazar of Sholalon Union No. 4 of Burichang Upazila of Comilla. The clash took place in Bharasar Bazar on Saturday morning. Mujibar Rahman, Delar Hossain, Jamal Hossain father of deceased Shamsul Haque and Riaz Hossain of Bharasar village are seriously injured and admitted to the hospital.
The injured said that while they were constructing a shop in their shop in Bharasar Bazar, Ripon, Manju and Ratan, all of them were seriously injured by the sharp weapon of their father Mofizul Islam. Regarding the incident, the injured’s brother-in-law, Bhai Zahir, who witnessed the incident, said that when my sister-in-law’s brothers went to do construction work on their property,
the opposing people ambushed my sister’s son-in-law and his brothers with country-made weapons and hacked them to death. A case has been filed with Burichang Police Station in this regard. The officer-in-charge of Burichang Police Station said that necessary action will be taken based on the complaint, subject to investigation.
