Dates, chickpeas, sugar, chira, muri, tang and other types of iftar items were distributed among more than 300 poor families in Amtali under the initiative of Jahanara-Latif Molla Foundation. On this occasion, a discussion meeting on the holy month of Ramadan was held at the hall room of the Upazila Parishad at 11 am on Monday.
The discussion meeting and Iftar items distribution ceremony held under the chairmanship of Jahanara-Latif Molla Foundation President Journalist Md. Zakir Hossain was the chief guest and the distribution of Iftar items was inaugurated by Amtali Upazila Acting Executive Officer Muhammad Ashraful Islam.
