The inauguration and taking charge meeting of the newly elected committee of Pirganj Diabetic Association of Thakurgaon was held. The meeting was held on Saturday (August 23) morning at the Pirganj Diabetes Hospital meeting room.
The meeting, chaired by Pirganj Diabetic Association Supervisor and Upazila Social Service Officer SM Rafiqul Islam, was addressed by former National Parliament Member of Thakurgaon-3 constituency and newly elected President of Diabetic Association Zahidur Rahman, Principal of Pirganj Government College Professor Badrul Huda, OC of Pirganj Police Station Tajul Islam, General Secretary of District CPB Adv. Abu Sayem, Adv. Ikramul Haque, newly elected general secretary of Diabetic Association and president of the press club Joynal Abedin Babul, vice president Bablur Rashid, members Ruhul Amin and Ferdousi Begum, former vice chairmen Ashraf Ali Badsha and Ittesham ul Haque Mim, retired education officer Arju Mand Banu, journalist Moqaddes Hayat Milon, life members Asim Kumar Bhakta, Maqbul Alam, Mansur Alam, etc.
Later, the supervisory committee handed over the responsibility of the Pirganj Diabetic Association to the newly elected members for two years.
