The 5th annual general meeting, family gathering and winter pitha festival of the voluntary social organization Kaliganj Kalyan Sangstha were held in Kaliganj, Gazipur. The day-long event was held at the Borohara Swapnachaya Resort in Moktarpur Union of the upazila on Monday. Kaliganj Kalyan Sangstha President Adv. Atiqur Rahman Bhuiyan presided over the event, with Kaliganj Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) ATM Kamrul Islam present as the chief guest.
Under the direction of the organization’s general secretary Mashhudur Rahman Sajeed, the main sponsor of Kaliganj Kalyan Sangstha, Dr. Mohammad Waduduzzaman Bhuiyan, spoke at the event. In addition, the organization’s advisor Md. Murshid Uzzaman, Farzin Nawar Zaman, Eng. Enamul Haque, Doctors BD Limited CEO Mahfuzur Rahman Khan, Care Bangladesh Team Leader Hafizul Islam, retired government employee Muhammad Muhsin, etc. The organization’s treasurer, Adv. Rashidul Hasan Rubel, presented the financial report at the annual general meeting.
