The preparatory meeting of the committee formed at the upazila level regarding the implementation of the new bud sports program under the Sports Directorate under the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Bholahat, Chapainawabganj was held at the Upazila Executive Officer’s office on Monday (April 20, 2026) at 10 am.
New Upazila Assistant Commissioner and Upazila Executive Officer (Additional Duty) Md. Sanaul Morshed presided over the meeting, which was attended by Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Shobhan Kumar Pal, UP Chairman Alhaj Md. Peerjahan, Md. Yasin Ali Shah, Alhaj Md. Mozammel Haque Chutu and Md. Afaz Uddin Panu Mia, Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Rabiul Islam Kabiraj, Social Service Officer Md. Nasim Uddin, Secondary Academic Supervisor Md. Harunor Rashid, Teachers Abdur Rakib, Md. Hatem Tai and other dignitaries.
At the end of the meeting, the president of the event strongly urged the concerned UP Chairman to form a committee at the upazila level for Notun Kudi Sports and register their names quickly. This is an opportunity for boys and girls aged 12 to 14 to compete in 8 events. The last date for registration is 24 April 2026.
