In memory of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha, the Shaheed Osman Hadi Cricket Tournament has started in Nalchiti, Jhalakati, his birthplace. The tournament was inaugurated by the chief guest of the event, Upazila Executive Officer Md. Jobair Habib, at 9:30 am on Saturday (January 24) at Nalchiti China Ground.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Rizvi Ahmed Sabuj, OC of Nalchiti Police Station Md. Ariful Alam, and Osman Hadi’s sister Masuma Hadi were special guests at the event. Those involved in the tournament were present at the time.
Upazila Sports Association organized this tournament. A total of 32 teams participated in this knockout tournament.
