A tree plantation program has been inaugurated in Panchbibi, Joypurhat by the Upazila Scouts.
Upazila Executive Officer Romana Riaz inaugurated the tree plantation program by planting trees and forest saplings on the Lal Bihari Government Pilot School grounds at 10 am today, Sunday.
Upazila Scout Commissioner Mahfuzar Rahman Mithu, General Secretary Zainul Abedin Mahmud, Upazila Scout Leader A. Mannan, Wood Badger and Auditor Musharat Sultana Mukta, Acting Headmaster of Lal Bihari High School Ataur Rahman and Scout Leader Mehnaz Tabasum Silvi were present at the time. Later, neem saplings were planted in the upazila premises and saplings were distributed among the scouts.
