His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, has arrived in the United Arab Emirates on an official visit.
His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, welcomed the Indian Prime Minister on his arrival.
A formal reception was held for Prime Minister Modi, which included the playing of the national anthems of both countries and a guard of honour.
As the aircraft carrying Prime Minister Modi entered the UAE airspace, it was welcomed by a squadron of military aircraft. As a token of welcome, the Squadron Leader requested permission to escort the aircraft to the airport.
