Pirganj (Rangpur) Correspondent:

A workers’ conference organized by the 3rd Bara Darga Union Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was held in Pirganj Upazila of Rangpur (August 25) on Monday night at 8 pm. In the presence of the chief negotiator Professor Nurul Amin (Jamaat-nominated MP nominee), the president of the convening committee of the BNP’s 3rd Bara Darga Union Jubo Dal and the president and secretary of the ward BNP, 15 leaders and workers joined the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.

Professor Maulana Nurul Amin, nominated MP candidate of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Pirganj, was present as the chief guest. Professor Maulana Mizanur Rahman, Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Pirganj Upazila Branch, was present as the special guest, and former student leader and president of Gaibandha District Branch of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Hafez Maulana Shah Ariful Islam Mujahid, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Pirganj Upazila Majlish-e-Sura and Working Committee Member Rangpur and Caretaker 3rd Big Darga Union were also present. The program was presided over by Janneta Maulana Mahbub Alam Habibi, 3rd Big Darga Union Branch.

The program was moderated by Mahmud Hasan, Secretary, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami 3rd Big Darga Union.

Jamaat-e-Islami is an Islamic ideological political organization. Any person who is inspired by the ideology of Jamaat-e-Islami and agrees with the goals and objectives of this organization can join the party.

Professor Maulana Nurul Amin congratulated all those who joined Jamaat from BNP and added, “You will not be successful just by joining Jamaat, for the sake of Allah’s pleasure and salvation in the hereafter, everyone should develop themselves as a self-sacrificing and ideologically responsible person by following the rules and regulations of Islam in all aspects of life.”

The leaders and activists who joined said, “Jamaat-e-Islami is an ideological Islamic party. Inspired by the recent patriotic activities of Jamaat, we have joined Jamaat as a group after mutual consultation and analysis and self-motivation.

We have understood that Jamaat-e-Islami is the only party whose visionary and wise leadership is beneficial for the country and the nation. After August 5, when the nation was dreaming of building a new Bangladesh free of discrimination, corruption and welfare, the nation was continuously disappointed by the negative activities of the leaders and workers of BNP and its affiliated organizations, and the popularity of the country’s largest party has started to decline rapidly.

In this situation, Jamaat-e-Islami has become a symbol of trust for all quarters as a safe platform for the dreams of any patriotic and welfare-seeking citizen. A large number of leaders and workers of Jamaat’s unions and wards were present at the workers’ conference.
