Students of Bangladesh University of Health Sciences blocked roads in Technical More and Gabtoli areas on Tuesday (August 26) at around 11 am to demand a permanent campus. The movement stopped traffic for a long time, resulting in traffic jams in the area.
The students said that the university has been facing problems in its educational activities due to the lack of a permanent campus for a long time. They mentioned that Professor Dr. AK Azad Khan, who is currently serving as the head of the Health Reform Commission, president of the Bangladesh Diabetic Association and chairman of the university’s board of trustees, has been at risk for a long time due to the lack of a permanent campus.
