4-day celebration of Sri Guru Sangh’s 80th founding anniversary in Kaukhali

On the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Kawkhali Upazila Sree Guru Sangh of Pirojpur, the 13th annual festival organized by the Kawkhali Branch Sangh and organized by the 51-member committee of the Sri Guru Sangh Bangladesh Central Ashram will begin on Friday, August 29th in the afternoon with the commencement of the Matri Sangh session and various programs and will conclude with the distribution of Maha Prasad on Monday, September 1st in the afternoon. It is known that the said Gurudev was born in Rajapur village of Bakheganj Upazila of Barisal. He established the Sree Guru Sangh in Kolkata on this day, 13th Bhadra, 1352 Bengali.

Kawkhali Branch Sangh, like every year, to obtain the grace of the Guru, for the welfare of the country and the world peace, the main formal inauguration of the festival was held on August 30th (Saturday) at 9 am by hoisting the Sangh flag. The flag was hoisted by the President of Sri Guru Sangh Bangladesh Central Ashram and Ashram Principal Swami Jagannathananda Saraswati Maharaj. Also present at the time were the Executive President of Sri Guru Sangh Bangladesh Central Ashram Principal Parimal Karmakar, Senior Vice President Advocate Paritosh Samaddar, Acting General Secretary and General Secretary of Kaukhali Branch Sangh Paritosh Mondal, Vice President of Kaukhali Branch Sangh Subrata Roy, Bankim Chandra Saha, Joint General Secretary Sanjit Kumar Saha, Organizing Secretary Binoy Krishna Das, Publicity Secretary Manik Lal Kar, etc.


Distribution of fruits among the needy patients in the hospital at 11 am, distribution of educational materials among the students at 11:30 am, distribution of clothes among the helpless mothers at 12:30 pm, congregational prayer at 6:30 pm, grand religious gathering at 7:30 pm and auspicious adhivasa of the Sri Sri Tarakabraham Mahanaam Yajnaanushta at 10 pm and a Mahanaam Yajnaanushta for eight hours on Sunday have been organized. Then tomorrow, Monday, September 1st, the program will conclude with the Kunjabhang from 6 am, Sri Sri Guru Puja and Bhograag at 11 am, and distribution of Mahaprasad at 1 pm.
