Tin donation has been given to the families affected by the fire in Dhamirhat. On August 31 at 5 pm, UNO Jasmine Akhter gave 2 bundles of tin, a check of 6 thousand taka, rice, oil and other dry food to Jahidul Islam, son of Chaifar Ali of Dhuril village of Isabpur union.
Project Implementation Officer Mansur Ali, Upazila BNP Secretary Md. Hanzala, Naogaon District Jubo Dal Joint Convener Jahangir Alam Liton and other dignitaries were present at the time. According to the relief branch of the Upazila Executive Officer, a fire caused by an electrical short circuit on Saturday, July 30, destroyed the tin roof of Zahidul Islam’s house, along with 11 bundles of tin, wood, bamboo, cots, 2 desktop computers, 1 laptop and other goods worth over 5 lakh taka.
