On Wednesday, September 10, according to the program announced by the Bangladesh Diploma Engineering Students-Teachers Professionals Sangram Parishad, Central Committee, a protest rally, procession and a memorandum were submitted to the Honorable Chief Advisor of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh through the District Commissioner in order to implement 07 (seven) demands in the larger national interest in the context of the continuous conspiracy against the Diploma Engineering curriculum and professional workplace.
The rally started at 10 am at the Pabna Polytechnic Institute ground. During this time, the convener of the Sangram Parishad Pabna District Committee, Prof. Md. Rakibul Islam, joint convener and junior instructor of the Polytechnic Institute, Prof. Md. Ujjal Hossain, joint convener and DEA Pabna District Committee, Prof. Rakibul Hasan, joint member secretary Tanzeel Abedin, instructor of the Polytechnic Institute, Prof. Md. Mohsin Ali, leader of the Technical Students’ Movement, Prof. Md. Sumaiya Islam, and others spoke.

The rally was attended by about 02 (two) thousand people, including students and teachers of various government and private polytechnic institutes of Pabna district, diploma engineers of various service associations, businessmen and aspiring diploma engineers.
After the rally, the protest procession left the Polytechnic Institute and ended in front of the Government Edward College, via Abdul Hamid Road in the city, at the office of the Deputy Commissioner.
After the procession, a memorandum was submitted to the Honorable Chief Advisor of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh through the Deputy Commissioner.
