Today, March 12, 2026, from Hatirdia Bus Stand, Ekduaria Union, Monohardi Upazila, Narsingdi, the Monohardi Police Station arrested drug dealer Mobarak Hossain Orufe Bhandari (58), father: deceased A. Aziz Sang, Rasulpur Police Station: Monohardi, District: Narsingdi, with drugs.
On receiving information from a special source, the Monohardi Police Station Police, on the basis of secret information, came to know that Md. Mobarak Hossain Orufe Bhandari was running a drug business in the hotel of Rasulpur Sakine Bhat at Hatirdia Bus Stand and that young teenagers and car drivers were coming from different areas to buy and consume drugs.
While the entire Bangladesh is undergoing a campaign against drugs, a campaign is underway in all unions of Monohardi Upazila under the leadership of the Officer-in-Charge of Monohardi Police Station, R.M. Shahinul Islam, against various criminal matters including drugs.
Last night, a smart team led by SI Shahinur Islam, the In-Charge of Monohardi Model Police Station, managed to arrest drug dealer Md. Mobarak Hossain Orufe Bhandari (58), who was arrested.
