The final game of the Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament 2026 was held in Dhamairhat. Organized by the Upazila Administration and Primary Education Office, the final game of the football tournament was held at Dhamairhat Mini Stadium on Tuesday, April 28 at 5 pm, with Upazila Primary Education Officer Atiqur Rahman presiding over the final game of the football tournament. Upazila Executive Officer Prashant Chakraborty was present as the chief guest.
Upazila Youth Development Officer Kamruzzaman Sardar, Project Implementation Officer Mansur Ali, Assistant Education Officer Anwar Hossain, Assistant Education Officer Mizanur Rahman, Assistant Education Officer Rabindranath, Upazila BNP President MA Wadud, General Secretary Hanzala, Mayor BNP President Shahidur Rahman Sarkar, General Secretary Anarul Islam, Upazila Jubo Dal Joint Convener Jahangir Alam Liton, Upazila Amir Maulana Kamruzzaman of Jamaat, various political leaders, head teachers and assistant teachers of various primary schools in the upazila, etc. were present as special guests.
In today’s Gold Calf Football Tournament final, the boys’ team, Dadanpur Government Primary School, defeated Jagdal Adivasi Government Primary School by 1-0 goals. The girls’ team, Bongram Government Primary School, defeated Chandipur Government Primary School by 3-0 goals. Later, these two teams will participate in the Gold Calf Football Tournament competition at the Naogaon district level.
