Remembering the villain actor Babar, his full name is Khalilur Rahman Babar.
Babar is a strong film actor who has acted in more than three hundred films. He is mainly known for playing villain roles in films.
Born on February 5, 1952 in Gendaria, Old Dhaka, he made his film debut as a hero through the film ‘Banglar Mukh’ by renowned director Amjad Hossain.
However, his path began in 1972 with the film ‘Rangbaaz’ by Nayakraj Razzak. The last film Babar acted in was ‘Tero Gunda Ek Panda’.
In addition to acting in films, he has produced and directed a film titled ‘Dagi’. He has directed films like ‘Dayaban’ and ‘Dadabhai’.
He won the National Film Award for his brilliant performance in just one sequence as a blacksmith in the film ‘Pratinidhi’ directed by actor Azim.
Babar breathed his last on August 26, 2019 at the age of 67 at the capital’s Square Hospital.
