BNP expelled 3 leaders for defying party decision in Brahmanbaria as independent candidate

Three BNP leaders have been expelled from Brahmanbaria on charges of engaging in activities that go beyond the party’s instructions and go against party policy, ideology and discipline in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election.

This information was given in a press release signed by BNP Central Executive Committee Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Wednesday night.

The expelled BNP leaders are Advocate Kamruzzaman Mamun, Vice President of Brahmanbaria District BNP and President of Brahmanbaria District Bar Association and independent candidate for Brahmanbaria-1 constituency,
Kazi Nazmul Hossain Taposh, Economic Affairs Secretary of Brahmanbaria District BNP and independent candidate for Brahmanbaria-5 constituency, and agriculturalist Saiduzzaman Kamal, independent candidate for Brahmanbaria-6 constituency.

Brahmanbaria District BNP Organizing Secretary Asaduzzaman Shaheen confirmed the matter.
