BNP ward conferences were held in four wards of Mokarimpur Union in Bheramara Upazila of Kushtia. It is worth mentioning that the elections were held in a democratic process and in a healthy manner. This conference was held at Azad Memorial Secondary School. The results of the elections were announced by Chief Election Commissioner SM Badiuzzaman and Assistant Commissioner Shahin Hasan Tokon.
Lal Mia and General Secretary Rashidul Islam Dudu were elected as the president of Ward No. 6. Masud Rana and General Secretary Alal Uddin were elected as the president of Ward No. 7. Abdus Samad Lalon and General Secretary Mahabubul Alam Kiron were elected as the president of Ward No. 8. Ashraful Islam and General Secretary Abul Kashem were elected as the president of Ward No. 9.
At this time, Bheramara Upazila BNP convener, former chairman of the Upazila Parishad and former mayor of the municipal council, Adv. Touhidul Islam Alam, was present as the chief guest and inaugurator. The main speaker at the conference was Shahjahan Ali, member secretary of the Bheramara Upazila BNP convener committee and former acting chairman of the Upazila Parishad.
The conference, chaired by Bheramara Upazila BNP Joint Convener Abdur Rob, was attended as special guests by Bheramara Upazila BNP Joint Convener Principal Aslam Hossain, Upazila BNP Joint Convener Mostaq Ahmed Mintu, Upazila BNP Joint Convener and former Chairman of Chandgram Union Janbar Hossain, Mokarimpur Union BNP Former President Shahadat Hossain, Upazila BNP Joint Convener Shafiqul Islam Bishu, Upazila BNP Joint Convener Isha Haque Ali, Upazila BNP Joint Convener Zahidur Islam Ranju, Municipal BNP Organizing Secretary Shamim Reza Shamim, Rokonuzzaman Rokon. Bheramara Upazila Jubo Dal Leader Mojibur Rahman Babu Mondal, Upazila Jubo Dal Member Secretary Mosharraf Hossain, Jubo Dal Leader Azad.
