A meeting on the Standing Order on Disaster (SOD) was held with the Disaster Management Committee at the Upazila level in Dhamirhat.
UNO Jasmine Akhter was present as the chief guest in the meeting held at 12 noon on Monday, August 25 in the Upazila Parishad meeting room. With the help of HEX/EPER
and implemented by Dasco Foundation, Anwar Hossain, Technical Officer of Dasco Foundation’s Thrive Project, presented the idea of Dasco Foundation and various activities of the Thrive Project.
At this time, Upazila Agriculture Officer Toufiq Al Zubair, Food Controller Mamur Or Rashid, UP Chairmen, Dasco Foundation’s Thrive Project Monitoring Officer Altafur Rahman, CDO Emran Hossain, Rubia Khaton, officials of various upazila departments, members of the meeting were present and asked the presenter about the progress and current results and the presenter gave answers based on the topic.
On the same day, at 11:30 AM, the monthly meeting of the Upazila Adolescent Healthcare Management and Coordination Committee was held in the same meeting room under the chairmanship of UNO Jasmine Akhter.
Shamima Akhter, Community Development Organizer (CDO) of DUSCO Foundation, highlighted various aspects of adolescent healthcare implemented by DUSCO Foundation with the support of the Empower project. UNO Jasmine Akhter called on all concerned to fulfill their respective responsibilities for the welfare of the society and the state.
